What is Class Smash: A Food & Fitness Bash?
Class Smash is a charity fundraiser for The MS Society of Canada and The Humber College Scholarship Fund. It features a variety of fun, introductory fitness classes, and some tasty food!
Where is Class Smash occurring?
99 Sudbury St., Toronto, ON. One block south of The Drake Hotel. Enter through the “99 Gallery” entrance.
Is Class Smash accessible by TTC?
Yes! Class Smash will occur close to the major intersection of Queen St. W and Dufferin St.
Both Queen streetcars and the Dufferin bus will get you there!
When is Class Smash occurring?
Sunday, March 26th from 2:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. ‘Surf’s Up’ registration occurs at 2:00 P.M., while
regular ‘Class Smash’ registration occurs at 4:00 P.M.
I’ve never done SURFSET, KICKBOXING, POUND, or YOGA before. Is this event for me?
Absolutely! Class Smash is designed to provide an introduction to different kinds of fitness options. No experience necessary!
I can’t make it to Class Smash, but I still want to support the MS Society of Canada and the Humber College Scholarship Fund. Are there other ways to contribute to this event?
For sure! You can make a donation through the “Register/Donate” button on our home page. You can also buy raffle tickets online for our raffle featuring over $2,500 worth of prizes.
What do I need to bring?
You should bring comfortable, athletic clothing and footwear. You’ll also need cash to buy raffle tickets, 50/50 draw tickets, or to donate! Yoga mats will be provided!
I’m a vegetarian, will there be a vegetarian food option?
Yes! There will be a vegetarian option for the post-workout meal from Food Dudes! Various vegetarian snacks will also be available throughout the day!
What if I need a break from exercise?
There will be 10-15 minute breaks between each of the exercise classes. Guests are encouraged to take any further breaks that they may need. During breaks, you can relax in our ‘Jellyfish Lounge,’ grab some snacks, socialize with your classmates, check out raffle prizes, or get a massage (massages available from 2 P.M. to 4:15 P.M.)
What’s the deal with change rooms/showers?
There will be a number of private washrooms where guests are able to get changed. A limited number of shower passes will be available for purchase after the exercise portion has concluded.
Will there be coat check or lockers?
Free coat check will be available at the event. Lockers are not available, but attendees can store bags at coat check alongside their coats.
Who is organizing Class Smash?
Class Smash is being organized by a group of 8 Event Management students from Humber College.
